A simple idea for a cold day – hearty, warm, and delicious!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 12
Dry yellow lentils
1 (16 oz.) package
Diced tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can, drained
Beef broth
2 (14 oz.) cans
Water
3 cups
1 carrot, chopped
Polish sausage (kielbasa)
2 lbs., cut into ½ inch pieces
Celery
1 stalk, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Rinse and dry yellow lentils (but don’t soak).
- Add all the ingredients (from lentils to celery) to a slow cooker bowl and cook on High for 3 hours or on Low for 6 to 7 hours.
- Stir well and serve immediately.
