INGREDIENTS

Onions
4, chopped
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Green bell pepper
1, chopped
Vegetable oil
½ cup
Tomatoes
16 cups, chopped
Dried oregano
2 tbsp.
Dried basil
2 tbsp.
Parsley
¼ cup, chopped
White sugar
¼ cup
Salt
2 tbsp.
Ground black pepper
¾ tsp.
Tomato paste
1 (6 oz.) can
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine onion, garlic, pepper, and oil in a slow cooker bowl and sauté until onion is transparent.
  2. Add the next seven ingredients (from tomatoes to black pepper) and cook for 2 to 3 hours on Low stirring from time to time.
  3. Let the sauce cool down and pour it in freezer containers. If necessary, store it in the freezer. When ready to serve, add a can of tomato sauce and stir.
