INGREDIENTS
Servings: 24
Fresh strawberries 
2 cups, sliced
Vegetable oil 
1 1/4 cups
Eggs 
4, beaten
Pecans 
1 1/4 cups, chopped
All-purpose flour 
3 1/8 cups
White sugar 
2 cups
Ground cinnamon 
1 tbsp
Salt 
1 tsp
Baking soda 
1 tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C). Prepare two 9x5-inch loaf pans by buttering and flouring them.
  2. Place strawberries in a bowl. Sprinkle with white sugar. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, white sugar, cinnamon, salt, and soda. 
  4. Blend oil and beaten eggs into the strawberries. Add the strawberry mixture to the flour and sugar mixture. Add chopped pecans and stir. Divide the batter into the prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes (use a toothpick to test for doneness: insert it in the center of each loaf and check if it comes out clean). Allow the bread to cool in the pans on the wire rack for about 10 minutes. Turn the bread out of the pans. Let it cool before slicing and serving it. Enjoy your Strawberry Bread!
