INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Ricotta cheese
1 (15 oz.) container
Eggs
2
Dried Italian seasoning
2 tbsp.
Mozzarella cheese
3 cups, shredded
Parmesan cheese
1 cup, freshly grated
Frozen chopped spinach
1 (10 oz.) package, thawed, squeezed dry
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Frozen white bread dough
1 (32 oz.) package, thawed
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 400° F/200° C/Gas Mark 4.
- Combine the first six ingredients (from ricotta cheese to spinach) in a large bowl and set aside.
- Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each of them out to a 8-inch circle.
- Spoon about ½ cup of cheese filling on each circle, fold it over, seal the edges, and place on a greased cookie sheet prepared in advance.
- Bake for about half an hour or until calzones are browned on tops and bottoms.
