Fresh ripe tomato

Peeled white onion

Tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
½ cup
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Puree ½ tomato with ¼ white onion.
- Place the tomato-onion puree into a saucepan; add juice, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer.
- Taste, add more salt, if necessary. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season with freshly ground pepper, stir, and transfer to a mug.
- Enjoy with a grilled cheese sandwich or fresh bread.
