This recipe features chicken covered in a sweet and savory orange sauce.

Orange juice
1/3 cup
Brown sugar
2 tbsp
Garlic cloves
2 cloves, minced
Rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp
Orange zest
2 tsp, minced
Soy sauce
3 tbsp
Chili-garlic paste
1 tsp
Water
1/4 cup
Cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp
Boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 lbs, cut into 2-inch cubes
Salt
1 tsp
Olive oil
2 tbsp
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375° F (190° C/Gas mark 5).
- Toss chicken with salt and oil. Place the chicken breast pieces on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, combine cornstarch with water in a bowl until incorporated.
- In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch mixture with juice, zest, soy sauce, garlic paste, sugar, garlic cloves, and vinegar. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 3 minutes, or until thickened.
- Pour the orange sauce over the chicken. Toss to coat. Serve and enjoy your Easy Orange Chicken!
