 24 (3.5-inch square)
Boneless pork loin
1/2 lb, coarsely chopped
Peeled shrimp
2 oz, finely chopped
Brown sugar
1 tsp
Chinese rice wine
1 tbsp
Chicken stock
3 cups
Green onion
1/8 cup, finely chopped
Light soy sauce
1 tbsp
Finely chopped green onion
1 tsp
Chopped fresh ginger root
1 tsp
  1. Combine pork loin, peeled shrimp, sugar, wine, soy sauce, 1 tsp green onion, and ginger in a large bowl. Mix and let it stand for 30 minutes.
  2. Place 1 tsp of the pork mixture at the center of each wonton skin. Moisten the edges with water. Pull the top corner down to the bottom, folding over the pork mixture. Seal the edges by pressing them firmly. Bring left and right corners together above the pork mixture, and overlap these corners, moisten with the tips with water and press them together.
  3. Bring the chicken stock to a boil. Add wontons and cook for about 5 minutes. Serve with green onion.
