This easy bolognese sauce knows how to warm your heart! Serve with pasta and grated Parmesan.

Dry white wine

Whole milk

Carrot
1, peeled and finely chopped
Celery
1 stalk, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Over medium-high, heat olive oil in a dutch oven. Add chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Cook for 6-7 minutes, until soft. Add meat and minced garlic. Stir. Cook for 7 minutes, until lightly seared.
- Add dry white wine. Bring to a simmer and keep cooking until the wine is reduced.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato paste, and bay leaf. Reduce heat. Allow it to simmer for 1 hour.
- Then, remove the bay leaf. Gradually add milk and stir. Cover, keeping it slightly open. Stirring occasionally, allow to simmer for 45 minutes, until the milk is incorporated. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
