Here's how to make salmon crispy on the outside and moist on the inside!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Salmon fillets
4 (6-oz), patted dry
Salt
to taste
Ground black pepper
to taste
Extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp
White wine
1/4 cup
Lemon juice
1 lemon, divided
Garlic
2 cloves, sliced
Red pepper flakes
1 pinch
Butter
2 tbsp
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Then, place salmon in the skillet skin-side up. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, or until golden. Flip.
- Carefully add white wine, 1/2 lemon juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer. Keep cooking, occasionally basting the salmon, until opaque. Remove from the skillet.
- Add butter and the remaining juice to the skillet. Whisk to combine. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes, or until thickened. Serve and enjoy your Fried Salmon!
