INGREDIENTS

Cream cheese
2 oz, softened
Old Bay seasoning 
1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce 
1 dash
Mayo 
2 tbsp
Egg 
1, lightly beaten
Lemon juice 
1 tsp
Lump crab meat 
1 lb
Mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup, shredded
Garlic 
1 clove, minced
Chives 
1 tbsp, chopped
Panko bread crumbs 
1 1/2 cup
Ground black pepper 
to taste
Vegetable oil 
 for frying
Kosher salt 
to taste
Parmesan cheese
grated, for garnish
Mayo 
1/2 cup (for sauce)
Lemon juice 
1 tbsp (for sauce)
Old Bay seasoning 
1 tsp (for sauce)
Chives 
1 tbsp, chopped (for sauce)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cream cheese, egg, juice, seasoning, mayo, and sauce. Mix. Fold in crab meat, minced garlic, Mozzarella cheese, chives (1 tbsp), and Panko bread crumbs (3/4 cup). Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Roll into balls. Coat crab cake balls in the bread crumbs. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the sauce: whisk together mayo (1/2 cup), lemon juice (1 tbsp), chives (1 tbsp), and seasoning (1 tsp). Season with ground black pepper to taste. 
  3. Heat oil (1/2 inch) in a deep skillet. Cook crab cake balls until golden. Drain. Before serving, garnish with cheese. Serve with the sauce.
