INGREDIENTS

Water
1 cup
White sugar
1 cup
Fresh cranberries
1 (12 ounce) package
Orange, peeled and pureed
1
Apple, peeled, cored and diced
1
Pear, peeled, cored and diced
1
Chopped dried mixed fruit
1 cup
Chopped pecans
1 cup
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Ground cinnamon
1 tsp.
Ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Keep boiling and stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat to simmer, and add pureed orange, pear, cranberries, apple, dried fruit, pecans, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cover with a lid, and simmer for 30 minutes, giving an occasional stir, until the cranberries start to pop. Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
