INGREDIENTS
Servings: 10
Butter
1 ½ cups, softened
Cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) package, softened
Sugar
3 cups
Eggs
6, large
Vanilla extract
1 tbsp.
All-purpose flour
3 cups
Salt
1/8 tsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 300° F/150° C/Gas Mark 2.
  2. Add butter and cream cheese to a bowl and mix with an electric mixer until creamy.
  3. Add sugar gradually and beat for 5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time. Allow each of them incorporate before adding the next one. Add vanilla and stir well.
  5. Sift flour and salt and add gradually to the batter. Beat until well blended.
  6. Grease a bundt pan and pour the batter in it.
  7. Put 2 cups of water into an ovenproof container and place it in the oven close to a cake.
  8. Bake for 1 h 45 min. Check if the cake is ready inserting a toothpick in it. If it comes out clean the cake is ready.
  9. Put the cake on a wire rack and let it cool for 15 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and cool it on the wire rack completely.
