Jalapeno peppers
12, cut in half lengthwise
Cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) package, softened
Cajun seasoning
to taste
Jalapeno bacon
12 slices, cut in half
Toothpicks
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the broiler of the over and set the rack around 6 inches from the source of the heat.
- Place cream cheese inside jalapeno peppers to fill them. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and wrap each jalapeno half with a slice of bacon. Pierce with toothpicks to secure.
- Place the wrapped pepper halves on a broiler rack in one layer.
- Broil for about 8 to 15 minutes or until the bacon becomes crisp.
