One of the tastiest salsa recipes and one of the easiest ones, too!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 96
Tomatoes
8 cups, peeled, chopped, drained
Onions
2 ½ cups, chopped
Green peppers
1 ½ cups
Jalapeno pepper
1 cup
Garlic cloves
6, minced
Cumin
2 tsp.
Pepper
2 tsp.
Canning salt
1/8 cup
Sugar
1/3 cup
Vinegar
1/3 cup
Tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can
Tomato paste
1 (15 oz.) can
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all the ingredients and bring them to a slow boil. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Place the mixture in jars, seal them, and cook in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
- For a smoother salsa, cut the veggies into smaller pieces.
