A hearty chili for a chilly night! Serve it with low fat Cheddar or sour cream.
INGREDIENTS

Olive oil
1 ½ tsp.
Ground turkey
1 lb.
Onion
1, chopped
Water
2 cups
Crushed tomatoes
1 (28 oz.) can
Kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can, drained, rinsed, mashed
Garlic
1 tbsp., minced
Chili powder
2 tbsp.
Paprika
½ tsp.
Dried oregano
½ tsp.
Ground cayenne pepper
½ tsp.
Ground cumin
½ tsp.
Salt
½ tsp.
Ground black pepper
½ tsp.
DIRECTIONS
- Add oil to a large pot and heat it over a medium heat. Put the turkey in the pot and cook until it’s evenly brown. Add onion and cook until tender.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and cook for about 30 minutes.
