This rich and flavorful sauce will make your pasta perfect!
INGREDIENTS

Olive oil
1 tsp
Chopped onion
1 cup
Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
Ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
Peeled and diced tomatoes
2 (14.5 oz) cans
Chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsps
Garlic, minced
4 cloves
Red wine
3/8 cup
Chopped fresh basil
1 tbsp
Crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp
Tomato paste
2 tbsps
Lemon juice
1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet over medium, heat oil. Cook onion and garlic for about 5 minutes.
- Add wine, sugar, tomato paste, basil, red pepper, juice, seasoning, black pepper, and tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a boil. After reducing the heat to medium, simmer about 15 minutes, uncovered. Add parsley. Ladle over hot pasta. Serve.
