Easy Fried Ice Cream Recipe: Coated in corn flakes, this ice cream looks and tastes fried but is so easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Ice cream
1 pint
Butter
1 1/2 tbsp
Ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
Corn cereal
1 1/4 cup, crushed
Granulated sugar
2 tsp
Whipped cream
for garnish
Maraschino cherries
4, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare a sheet tray by lining it with parchment paper. Place it in the freezer.
- Scoop 4 ice cream balls onto the tray. Keep in the freezer.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium. Add crushed cereal and ground cinnamon. Cook for 5 minutes, or until golden. Remove the skillet from heat. Add sugar. Stir. Allow to cool.
- Roll ice cream in the mixture. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with Maraschino cherries. Enjoy your Fried Ice Cream!
