How to Make Easy Onion Dip

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 5
Butter 
2 tbsp
Vidalia onions
2, sliced into rings (1/4-inch-thick)
Shallots
2, sliced into rings (1/8-inch-thick)
Garlic
3 cloves, minced 
Sour cream 
2 cups
Mayo 
1 cup
Celery salt 
1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce 
1 tsp
Salt 
to taste
Ground black pepper 
to taste
Chives
chopped, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat butter in a saute pan over medium-high. Saute onions for 15 minutes, or until golden. Add shallots. Saute for 10 minutes, or until brown. Add garlic. Keep cooking for 2 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes. Chop into 1/4-inch pieces. 
  2. Mix sour cream, celery salt, Worcestershire, salt, and ground black pepper. Next, fold in the onions. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Before serving, garnish with chopped chives. Enjoy your French Onion Dip!
