INGREDIENTS
Servings: 12
Bulk pork sausage
1 (16 oz.) package
Frozen hash brown potatoes
3 cups, thawed
Milk
¼ cup, or as needed
Buttermilk biscuit dough
1 (16 oz.) can, refrigerated
Mexican cheese blend
1 ½ cups, shredded
5 eggs
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/Gas Mark 4; prepare and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Put the sausage in a large skillet and heat it over a medium-high heat.
  3. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until the sausage is no longer pink and crumbly. Drain and discard grease.
  4. Add hash brown potatoes and cook the, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until they’re browned.
  5. Split the biscuits in half and line the  baking dish with them in one layer. Make sure the bottom is completely covered by them.
  6. Cover the biscuit layer with the sausage-hash brown layer and top with the cheese blend.
  7. Combine the beaten eggs and milk in a bowl and pour the mixture over the chees.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until the eggs are set.
