Celebrate Father’s Day in a delectable way with this super-easy casserole!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 12
Bulk pork sausage
1 (16 oz.) package
Frozen hash brown potatoes
3 cups, thawed
Milk
¼ cup, or as needed
Buttermilk biscuit dough
1 (16 oz.) can, refrigerated
Mexican cheese blend
1 ½ cups, shredded
5 eggs
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/Gas Mark 4; prepare and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Put the sausage in a large skillet and heat it over a medium-high heat.
- Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until the sausage is no longer pink and crumbly. Drain and discard grease.
- Add hash brown potatoes and cook the, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until they’re browned.
- Split the biscuits in half and line the baking dish with them in one layer. Make sure the bottom is completely covered by them.
- Cover the biscuit layer with the sausage-hash brown layer and top with the cheese blend.
- Combine the beaten eggs and milk in a bowl and pour the mixture over the chees.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the eggs are set.
