The marinade in this flank steak recipe makes the meat tender and juicy!
INGREDIENTS

Extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 cup
Low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup
Lemon juice
2 tbsps
Packed brown sugar
2 tbsps
Flank steak
2 lbs
Salt
to taste
Ground black pepper
to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk together oil, juice, soy sauce, and sugar. Add steak. Toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Then, pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Place the steak on a sheet pan.
- Preheat the broiler to high.
- Cook the steak for 6 minutes for each side (for medium-rare). Allow the flank steak to rest before serving.
