The marinade in this flank steak recipe makes the meat tender and juicy!

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Extra-virgin olive oil 
1/3 cup
Low-sodium soy sauce 
1/4 cup
Lemon juice 
2 tbsps
Packed brown sugar 
2 tbsps
Flank steak 
2 lbs
Salt 
to taste
Ground black pepper 
to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Whisk together oil, juice, soy sauce, and sugar. Add steak. Toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Then, pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Place the steak on a sheet pan. 
  3. Preheat the broiler to high.
  4. Cook the steak for 6 minutes for each side (for medium-rare). Allow the flank steak to rest before serving.
