This recipe is the easiest pizza dough you'll ever try!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 2
Active dry yeast
1 packet
Extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsps
Kosher salt
1 tsp
All-purpose flour
3 cups + for dusting
Water
1 cup, slightly warm
Equipment: mixer with a dough hook
DIRECTIONS
- Pour water into the bowl of the mixer, sprinkle with yeast, set aside for 5 minutes. Make sure the water is not too hot, or it will spoil the yeast.
- When the mixture gets foamy, add oil, flour, and salt. Start mixing on low till a ball form.
- Dust the work surface with flour. Knead the dough ball with your hands on this surface until smooth.
- Brush the dough with olive oil. Place it in a bowl and keep in a warm place for an hour or so, until doubled in size.
- Cut the dough in half. Use one half to cook the Deep Dish Vegetable Pizza, and freeze the other half in a sealable freezer bag. It will keep for up to 3 months.
