INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
All-purpose flour 
1 cup
Garlic powder 
1 tsp 
Onion powder 
1 tsp
Chili powder 
1 tsp
Ground cumin 
1/2 tsp
Tilapia filets 
4 (6-oz) 
Salt 
to taste
Ground black pepper 
to taste
Vegetable oil
2 tbsps, divided
Cilantro leaves 
2 tbsps, for garnish (optional)
Lime wedges 
for serving (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Whisk together all-purpose flour, onion powder, garlic powder, chili, and ground cumin. 
  2. Season the fish with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Dip into the mixture. Place on a plate.  
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Add fish. Cook over medium for 3 minutes per side, or until golden and flakes with a fork. Before serving the Fried Tilapia, garnish with cilantro. Serve your Crispy Fried Tilapia with lime.
