INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Raw bacon
16 slices
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
¼ cup
Parsley leaves, finely chopped
½ tbsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C/Gas Mark 6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you have aluminum foil, then first line the sheet with foil and then with parchment – it will make cleaning up so much easier!
  2. Slice by slice, stretch bacon out and loosely tie into a knot. Secure with another knot to make the knot-part of the bacon larger and prevent it from shrinking in the oven.
  3. Arrange bacon knots on the prepared baking sheet, ½ inch apart.
  4. Sprinkle each knot generously with garlic (about 1/8 tsp. per knot), and bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Return into the oven and cook for 5 more minutes to let the cheese melt. If you want the bacon crispier, keep it in the oven for another 5 minutes.
