One of the most exquisite and delicious BBQ recipes and is so easy, too!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 6
Olive oil
2 ½ tbsp.
Butter
¼ cup, melted
Lemons
1 ½, juiced
Dijon mustard
3 tbsp.
Fresh basil leaves
½ cup, minced
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Salt
to taste
White pepper
to taste
Fresh shrimp
3 lbs., peeled, deveined
Skewers
DIRECTIONS
- Add olive oil and butter to a shallow, non-porous dish or bowl, and mix well.
- Add the next four ingredients (from lemon juice to garlic) and season with salt and pepper.
- Add shrimp, toss to coat, cover, and keep in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Heat the grill to a high heat.
- Discard the marinade and thread shrimp onto skewers.
- Lightly oil the grate and place the skewers on the grate. Cook for 2 minutes on 1 side, turn and cook for 2 minutes on the other side.
