INGREDIENTS
Servings: 24
Old-fashioned oats
4 cups
Dried plums
1 cup, chopped
Walnuts
1 cup, chopped
Cinnamon
2 tsps
Kosher salt
½ tsp
Brown sugar
1 ½ cups
Butter
¾ cup
No-stick cooking spray 
DIRECTIONS
  • Pre-heat oven to 350° F/180° C/ Gas Mark 4.
  • Apply the non-stick cooking spray to a baking sheet.
  • In large bowl, mix together the oats, plums, walnuts, cinnamon and salt.
  • Ina medium sauce pan, melt together sugar and butter until blended well.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the oat mixture, stir well. Press in an even layer into the baking sheet.
  • Bake until the edges become light golden (about 20 minutes). Cut into 24 separate bars while hot. Set aside to cool, then cut again, wrap each in plastic wrap.
