These caramel apples scream Halloween!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 6
6 apples
Idividually wrapped caramels - 1 package (14 oz.), wraps removed
Milk - 2 tbsp.
6 craft sticks
DIRECTIONS
- Trim the stems of the apples; stick the craft sticks into the tops.
- Grease a baking sheet with butter.
- Add unwrapped caramels and milk to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at intervals, mixing at each interval, until the caramels have completely melted. Allow to cool slightly.
- Coat apples, one by one, in caramel sauce on all sides. Place on the buttered baking sheet and let set. It's best to chill the apples briefly to help the sauce firm up faster.
