INGREDIENTS

Minced garlic

Large onion, minced

Korean-style short ribs
3 lbs, (beef chuck flanken, cut 1/3-inch thick)
Water
3/4 cup
Soy sauce
3/4 cup
White vinegar
3 tbsps
Dark brown sugar
1/4 cup
White sugar
2 tbsps
Black pepper
1 tbsp
Sesame oil
2 tbsps
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pour soy sauce, white vinegar, and water into a non-metallic bowl.
  2. Add brown sugar, black pepper, oil, white sugar, minced garlic, and minced onion. Stir.
  3. Submerge beef in the mixture. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for about 12 hours.
  4. Preheat a grill (medium-high). Remove the beef from the mixture. Cook each side for about 5 minutes (until the meat is no longer pink). Serve. Enjoy your Beef Galbi!
