These sweet-and-sour Hawaiian meatballs with pineapple juice are absolutely delightful!

INGREDIENTS

Lean ground beef 
2 lbs
Eggs 
2
Dry breadcrumbs 
1/2 cup
Salt 
1 tsp
Ground black pepper 
1/4 tsp
Worcestershire sauce 
1 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder 
1/4 tsp
Brown sugar 
1 cup
Cornstarch 
3 tbsp
Pineapple juice 
1 3/4 cups
White vinegar 
1/4 cup
Soy sauce 
1 1/2 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce 
1 1/2 tsp
 Pineapple tidbits 
1 (14-oz) can
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C/Gas mark 4).
  2. In a bowl, mix beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, ground black pepper, Worcestershire sauce (1 1/2 tsp), and garlic powder. Shape into meatballs. 
  3. In a non-stick frying pan, brown the meatballs. Drain on paper towels. 
  4. Next, in a saucepan, combine cornstarch and brown sugar. Add pineapple juice (1 3/4 cup). Blend until smooth. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce (1 1/2 tsp), and soy sauce. Stir. Simmer for 8 minutes on medium-low, or until thickened. 
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a casserole dish. Pour the pineapple sauce over them. Add pineapple tidbits. Coat the meatballs with the sauce. 
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy your Sweet and Sour Meatballs!
