INGREDIENTS

Butter
1/3 cup, melted
Garlic
2 tbsp., minced (more or less can be needed)
Garlic powder
2 tsp., divided
Seasoning salt
½ tsp., can be replaced by white
Dry breadcrumbs
¾ cup, seasoned or plain
Cheddar cheese
½ cup, finely grated
Parmesan cheese
¼ cup, freshly grated
Ground black pepper
½ tsp. or to taste
Chicken breasts
4, skinless, boneless
Cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
optional
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 325° F/165° C/Gas Mark 3.
- Prepare a 11x7 inch pan (for more than 4 breasts, use a larger pan).
- Mix the butter, garlic, 1 tsp. garlic powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl.
- Combine the breadcrumbs with Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Dip the chicken first in the butter mixture and then in the crumb mixture. Place the chicken pieces in the pan and bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until cooked through, uncovered.
- If needed, top with shredded Cheddar or mozzarella during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
