INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Red peppers
3, halved, seeded
Olive oil
2 tbsp, plus for serving
Walnuts
1/2 cup, plus for serving
Garlic
1 clove, finely chopped
Lemon juice 
1 tbsp
Ground sumac 
1/2 tsp
Cayenne 
1/4 tsp
Salt 
1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with foil. 
  2. Rub red peppers with olive oil (1 tbsp). Arrange them on the baking sheet cut-side down. Broil for 8 minutes, until they start to blacken. Transfer to a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Allow the peppers to sit for about 10 minutes, until tender. Remove the pepper skin. 
  3. Pulse the nuts, finely chopped garlic, juice, sumac, cayenne, oil (1 tbsp), and salt (about 1/2 tsp) in the food processor. Next, add peppers. Pulse in the food processor until mostly smooth. 
  4. Transfer the Walnut Dip to a bowl. Drizzle with more olive oil and walnuts. Serve and enjoy your Red pepper and walnut dip!
