Paprika Roasted Chicken is an easy meal with lots of flavor!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 5
Whole chicken, with skin
1
Sour cream
1/2 cup
Butter
1/4 cup (warm to room temperature)
Paprika
1 tsp
Lemon juice
3 to 4 tbsp
Salt
to taste
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium bowl, mix paprika with salt, add lemon juice and softened butter; mix well.
- Smear the chicken with the rub all over. Rub a little under the skin, too. Place the chicken into a roasting pan and set aside for an hour to marinate.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 F/220 C/Gas Mark 7.
- Bake the chicken for 60 minutes. Spoon the juice over the chicken while roasting from time to time.
- Transfer the chicken to a platter. Mix the juices from the pan with sour cream. Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
