Here's how to cook lentils the right way!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Green lentils
1 cup
Water
2 cups
Salt
to taste
Ground black pepper
to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Rinse lentils in a strainer.
- Pour water in a medium pot. Add lentils. Add salt now if you want your lentils to be chewy. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cover. Allow the lentils to simmer for 20 min, until tender.
- Drain excess liquid. Season with salt and pepper. Serve as desired. Enjoy!
