Pesto Rolls

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 20
Crescent rolls
1 tube (8 oz.), refrigerated
Pesto sauce
1/3 cup, prepared
Sweet red peppers
¼ cup, roasted, drained, chopped
Parmesan cheese
¼ cup, grated
Pizza sauce
1 cup, warmed
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 400° F/200° C/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Unroll the dough into 2 rectangles sealing all seams and perforations.
  3. Spread each rectangle with pesto and sprinkle with red peppers and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Beginning with a short side, roll each rectangle up jelly-roll style.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut each roll into 10 slices and place the, cut side down and about 2 inches apart from each other, on two ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve while warm together with pizza sauce.
