Malasadas Recipe: These Portuguese Donuts are famous for their richness and delicious texture!

DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon white sugar in 1/4 cup warm water. Beat eggs until thick in a separate bowl.
- Put all-purpose flour in a large bowl. Make a depression in the center. Add yeast, 1/2 cup white sugar, beaten eggs, butter, milk, 1 cup water, and salt into the well. Beat thoroughly. Allow the dough to rise, covered, until doubled.
- Heat oil to 375° F (190° C).
- Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls into the hot oil. Fry the donuts until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Shake the donuts in a sealable bag of sugar. Enjoy your Portuguese Donuts!
