This festive pudding is creepy, easy, and fun! Scare your friends with just one piece of it!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Milk
2 cups
White sugar
3/4 cup, divided
Cornstarch
2 tbsp.
1 egg
Vanilla extract
2 tsp.
1 kiwifruit
Fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup
4 chocolate chips or black currants
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk milk with ½ cup sugar, cornstarch, and egg in a saucepan.
- Place over medium heat; whisk constantly until thickened and smooth (about 8 to 10 minutes).
- Remove from heat; whisk in vanilla extract.
- Divide the hot mixture between 4 greased small round-bottomed bowls or ramekins.
- Refrigerate until well-set (about 4 hours).
- Peel and slice the kiwifruit.
- Puree raspberries with ¼ cup sugar; divide the sauce between saucers.
- Gently detach the edges of the pudding from the sides of the bowls, flip onto the raspberry puree.
- Top with a slice of kiwifruit for the iris. Make the pupils out of chocolate chips or currants.
