Silly Easy Peanut Butter Bars

Use your leftover Halloween candy to make these deliciously easy Peanut Butter bars.

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 24
Candy corn 
1 lb
Crunchy peanut butter 
1 (18-oz) jar
Semisweet chocolate chips 
1 (6-oz) bag
Vegetable shortening 
1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare a 9x13-inch pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat candy corn in the microwave oven in several 30-seconds intervals, until melted and smooth. 
  3. Add peanut butter. Stir until combined. Transfer the mixture to the pan, pressing and smoothing into the corners.
  4. In the boiler set over simmering water, combine chocolate chips and shortening. Stirring, heat until melted and smooth. 
  5. Spread the melted chocolate over the candy. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, until set. Then, cut into squares.
