INGREDIENTS

Eggs

Sugar
¾ cup
Margarine
7 1/8 tbsp. (softened)
Grated coconut
1 dry pint
Orange juice
4 tbsp.
Flour
8 tbsp.
Baking powder
1 tbsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 450° F/230° C/Gas Mark 8.
  2. Prepare an 8x8-inch cake pan, grease and flour it. Set the pan aside.
  3. Combine eggs with sugar and beat well until they’re fluffy.
  4. Add the next three ingredients (from margarine to orange juice) and keep beating until well-combined.
  5. Add the last ingredients and stir them without beating.
  6. Put the batter in the cake pan and bake for about half an hour. The cake is ready when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
