Cook barbecued ribs without the barbecue! So easy and so yummy!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Pork baby back ribs
4 lbs
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Ketchup
2 cups
Chili sauce
1 cup
Packed brown sugar
½ cup
Vinegar
4 tbsp.
Dried oregano
2 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp.
Hot sauce
1 dash
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 400° F/200° C/Gas Mark 6.
- Season ribs with salt and pepper, place them in a shallow baking dish, and cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Turn over and brown for 15 more minutes. Drain the excess fat.
- Combine the remaining ingredients (from ketchup to hot sauce) in a medium bowl. Place the ribs in a slow cooker, pour the sauce over the ribs, and turn to coat.
- Cover and cook on Low for about 6 to 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
