INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Active dry yeast
1 package
Warm milk
1 ¼ cups
Honey
¼ cup
Butter
1/8 cup, melted
Salt
1/8 tsp
All-purpose flour
4 cups
DIRECTIONS
  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add honey, salt, and butter. Mix until well combined. Add flour (3 cups) and hand-mix dough.
  2. Dust a work surface with the remaining flour. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
  3. Put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. Grease a loaf pan. Punch down the dough and put in into the loaf pan. Cover with a towel and set aside for another 30 minutes.
  5. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Bake honey bread for 30-35 minutes.
