INGREDIENTS
Servings: 24
Chocolate cake mix
1 (18.25 oz.) package
Black shoestring licorice
1 lb.
Chocolate frosting
1 (16 oz.) can
Candy corn
48 pieces
Cinnamon red hot candies
48
Orange decorator sugar
¼ cup
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook the cupcakes according to the package instructions and let them cool down.
  2. Cut licorice into sections about 3 inch each.
  3. Frost the cupcakes with the frosting, one or two at a time.
  4. Insert the pieces of licorice into the outer sides of the cupcakes to create spiders’ legs (3 on each side).
  5. For the fangs, use two pieces of candy corn placing them on the front of each spider.
  6. Use two red hots for every cupcake to make eyes.
  7. Sprinkle the cupcakes with decorator sugar and repeat the same process with the rest of the cupcakes.
