This recipe is a great way to roast a large chicken!
INGREDIENTS

Salt
4 tsp
Paprika
2 tsp
Onion powder
1 tsp
Thyme
1 tsp, dried
White pepper
1 tsp
Cayenne pepper
½ tsp
Black pepper
½ tsp
Garlic powder
½ tsp
Onions, cut into quarters

DIRECTIONS
- Combine the first eight ingredients (from salt to garlic powder) in a small bowl.
- Remove the giblets from the chicken.
- Rinse the chicken in and out under running water, and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chickens with the mixture of spices, and put 1 onion into the cavity of each of them.
- Put the chickens into a sealable bag or wrap them with food wrap.
- Keep the chickens in a fridge for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight.
- Heat the oven to 250°F/120°C/Gas Mark 1/2.
- Put the chickens in a roasting dish. Bake them without a cover for 5 hr, until the minimum internal temperature reaches 180°F/85°C.
- Let the chickens cool down for 10 mins before serving.
