This delicious Taco Pizza is a Mexican meets Italian dinner!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 6
Cornbread mix
1 package + everything the directions on the package require
Butter
1 tbsp
Fave taco meat
¾ lb
Taco meat seasoning
to taste
Salsa
to taste
Cheddar cheese to taste
Sour cream
to taste
Fave taco toppings
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 375°F/190°C/Gas Mark 5.
- Cook and season taco meat in your usual way.
- Prepare the cornbread mix following the directions on the package.
- Melt butter in a 8 to 9-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the mix into the skillet, spread evenly in a thin layer. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until firm.
- Remove skillet from oven.
- Smear the cornbread with sour cream, top with meat, spread evenly.
- Cover with salsa in an even layer. Sprinkle generously with cheese and return to oven.
- As soon as the cheese melts, remove from oven. Top with anything you like in tacos, slice up and serve.
