This simple Japanese Teriyaki Sauce will make your chicken or rice so much better!

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 12
Ground ginger 
1/2 tsp (or more to add flavor)
Garlic powder 
1/4 tsp (or more to add flavor)
Cornstarch 
2 tbsps
Water 
1 cup
Soy sauce 
1/4 cup
Brown sugar 
5 tsps
Honey 
1 tbsp
Cold water 
1/4 cup
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, soy sauce, sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute.
  2. In a cup, mix cornstarch and cold water. Stir until dissolved. Add the mixture to the saucepan. Stirring, cook for 5 minutes (until thickened). Enjoy your Japanese Teriyaki Sauce!
