Vegan Carrot Dogs are carrots that are perfectly cooked and taste just like a real hot dog!

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Carrots
4 large pieces, peeled
Water
¼ cup
Apple cider vinegar
¼ cup
Soy sauce
¼ cup (can be replaced by liquid aminos)
Agave nectar
2 tbsps
Paprika
½ tsp
Salt
½ tsp
Pepper
½ tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Peel the carrots and cut off their ends.
  2. Put the carrots into a pot, add water, bring to the boil, and boil them until you can easily insert a fork into them. Don’t boil for too long to avoid letting them fall apart.
  3. Rinse the carrots under cold water.
  4. Mix the rest of the ingredients to make the marinade.
  5. Combine the marinade and the carrots, and leave the mixture for 4 hours of more. Rotate the bowl with marinating carrots every two hours.
  6. Fry the carrots in a frying pan with very little oil until they’re browned.
