INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Mayonnaise
½ cup
Cajun seasoning
1 tsp.
Ground beef sirloin
1 1/3 lbs.
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, chopped
White onion
½ cup, diced
Garlic
1 clove, minced
Cajun seasoning
1 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp.
Pepper jack cheese
4 slices
4 hamburger buns, split
Lettuce
4 leaves
Tomato
4 slices
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the grill to a medium-high heat.
  2. Combine mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Take a large bowl and add the next six ingredients (from beef sirloin to Worcestershire sauce) to it. Mix well using your hands.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 balls and make flat patties of them.
  5. Oil the grill lightly and put the patties on the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until well-done.
  6. In the last 2 minutes, cover each patty with a cheese slice.
  7. Take the buns and spread the mayonnaise mixture onto its insides.
  8. Put the burger patties in the buns, tops with tomato and lettuce, and serve.
